I'm afraid it's been many years since I watched this movie, so I can't say much about Weisz's performance. I just remember that some of her inflections were unusual, as though she were trying to emphasise an 'other-ness' in her character.Bloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17806816026305227292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22193828.post-58396312346679236362017-07-12T23:16:40.248+01:002017-07-12T23:16:40.248+01:00Hello-

You have an errant extra slipped in "w" on the end of word "vie" in "La Double Vie(w) De Veronique", which shouldn't be there. - Thought you might appreciate the heads-up to nix it. Overlooked typos are never welcome of course, but on a "writer's blog" even more so I would think. ;)
~ Very much looking forward to "Le Snob P'" by the way !
Cheers
( Oh and, please do feel free to delete this comment. :) )Sybaritenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22193828.post-27983960427849644112012-03-14T20:53:18.376+00:002012-03-14T20:53:18.376+00:00This comment has been removed by the author.Persolaisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04192014353722036319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22193828.post-35504747085924512342012-01-19T07:33:41.031+00:002012-01-19T07:33:41.031+00:00What?!? Fassbender is amazing in this role and really nails just about every scene he has on screen. Good review. The arguments are always the same: they [Muslims] are more backwards then the folks in the west, less evolved etc. I want to know what makes Muslims so "special"; must be in the water I guess. I think its all based on irrational fear of the unknown. There are no monsters in the closet, just inside our heads, I guess.
